Safety First

The safety and well-being of our staff and constituents is of the greatest importance. The District is currently open with office staff members serving you remotely. Our field programs, including right-of-way maintenance, graffiti abatement and safety patrols are operating as normal with careful precautions to minimize exposure.

The Houston Police Department and Harris County Precinct 6 Constable’s office play important roles in insuring that the District’s 16 square-mile area are well served. Business owners can request a site visit by HPD or Precinct 6 to have their property evaluated and proactively reduce the risk of criminal activity. The closure of bars and limited restaurant operations as the result of City and County directives present unique security concerns to business owners and residents alike.

Please make sure that you have a current trespass affidavit on file with Harris County Pct. 6 Constable’s Office and HPD, especially if your business is currently closed. This allows officers to respond and make entry to your building if they are notified of or witness any unusual activity. Forms may be downloaded here: https://www.eastenddistrict.com/capital-projects/public-safety/ and returned to us by email at hello@eastenddistrict.com.

In response to the national emergency, we are increasing patrols to ratepayers and area businesses. To reach Precinct 6 for service, dial 713-274-3400. It is important to make sure their number is also added as a priority number to your alarm system.

East End District staff is working remotely and ready to assist. Please call us 713-928-9916 or email hello@eastenddistrict.com if you need anything.
